Side doors for the van?

It's about time the van got side doors. I believe it is now possible to have asymmetric UV maps, so this should be doable now. I am not requesting a sliding door, even though we do have slidenodes now - I am suggesting a double door, similar to AR216B's mod, but official. This could pave the way for an H15 passenger variant.

 

This is a great idea, I think we need some love for the H15.

 

I believe both are possible and long overdue. I hope they do come eventually but I doubt that they will be coming soon unless the devs are sneakily doing it. They seem to have no interest in making side doors for the van.

 

i think an old Variety mod had this in a van? it did fit pretty well.

This is definitely possible, but in all of my time on the forums I have only seen 2 or 3 attempts of sliding doors

 

Agreeable, although honestly it's just easier to download and unpack the mod than to get the devs to do it

 

This has been completly possible since the game came out in 2013.

As for the H series I'd sooner see it with a sliding door anyway, unless, as you said, its a passenger van variant its unlikely to have side doors in that fashion and that would involve quite a bit more work also.

 

I think Narwhal made a minivan with sliding doors once...
And AR162B sidedoor with just hinges

But the variety mod didn't had such a thing (?)
