Ok, so im not sure if anyone here has a wheel or anything, but i am thinking of upgrading my wheel (G27) and either getting the Thrustmaster Tx or the Logitech G920. I know the Tx has more addons, but i have read it fails quicker and that the ffb is stronger, which i dont like. I want a weaker ffb, as i am 13 and not the strongest. I also want a wheel that has more buttons, since i will also use this on the computer. I am switching because the G27 doesnt have xbox one support. I have had the G27 for 1-2 years now, and the only problem i have had is the clamp breaking. I would like some feedback. Thanks. If there are errors, blame my tiny screen on my iPod. --- Post updated --- bump
thats forums. Its unreasonable to expect an immediate response and as it stands this thread has been up such a short time period that it is expected that there is the possibility nobody has read it yet. Should note that most wheels do have tunable FFB so even if you arent the strongest you should be able to turn it down to cope. Reviews. Read reviews. Lots of them. Preferably from people that have spent an extended amount of time with the wheel not just half an hour since they unboxed it.
I just posted this as i may or may want suggestions as if any of YOU have them and know if they are good or bad. btw sorry about that
Don't buy the new logitech wheels, they're just overpriced g27s with fancy crap over them. If you want more buttons you can always buy or build yourself a button box. I'm getting into it lately and already got some rad buttons and switches. If you want to upgrade, go for the thrustmaster, I already got a thrustmaster shifter and the g27's one looks and feels like a toy now. If you also happen to be long on the money, go for Fanatec... If you want extra buttons, then you can buy one of them many button boxes on the internet (I got one from amazon and then realized it used the same usb circuit that I was tinkering with) or buy something like this: ...a trip to your hardware store and build yourself a cool custom buttonbox cockpit
Lol... ffb too strong? you know its adjustable right.. when i was 13 i could handle the strongest ffb fine and it didnt pick me up and toss me through the roof. I had the g27. It was good, until the mounting system broke. Currently i have a Thrustmaster t300rs but i dont know if thats too far out of your price range.
