I see other people post AC track conversions and it seems to be allowed, or do you need permission from the original creator ? Figured i would put all conversions i am working on in this one single thread and put up the early versions while i work on them and then put the final versions when done. Working on 15 projects at the moment. The ones attached are in playable state.
And here is a super unoptimized version of the Burnout Paradise map that i converted rather quickly yesterday evening.
That one already exists, someone else ported it and posted it somewhere on this forum, but that post seems to be deleted. I have it on my pc and its working fine. Not sure if i can post it here since its not my conversion.
On parts of the maps yes, it's still a work in progress. It's best on Donington Park, Watkins Glen, Kyalami and Knutstorp atm. Please do let me know if you find a bug or a problem and i will do my best to fix them.
Btw just asking can you please do the Burnin' Rubber standalone maps? If you have heard Burnin' Rubber series online games you would know what I am talking about.
Thanks for the feedback. I only started learning AC conversions like two weeks ago, so i know there is still lots to do and learn. These just took like 1-2 hours to convert. So the initial purpose was just to get them working and then start working on improving them. I only have like an hour a day to do that and figured i would share what i have converted so far so others could enjoy them, even in their rough shape.
Getting them in game is a good start and making them available to download so maybe if you won't continue with them then others can.
A nother Another quick conversion, this time its the Interlagos Circuit 1975. It's still in rough shape, but its playable, has sticky walls, which i intend to fix with collision meshes or mesh roads sometime in the future, but it's time consuming, unless there is a way to script it, which is what i am looking into.
Yes, it's rather rough, and its not in a final, release worthy state, but at least its in the game and hopefully i or someone else can use it as a base to make a proper release. Which is the intention of these releases, they are rather quick, crude, somewhat playable, but not of very high quality. But if it's something people don't want then i will of course stop posting these versions and work on them much longer before posting them,
Hello, thank you very much for porting these maps ♥️ It's funny CineCrasher had already made Chicago map
Reservoir GP, a fun little map i just converted. Update B2, fixed several texture problems and some sticky barriers.
Theoretically, it would be. I'm in the process of porting over High Force and I've had little to no problems that weren't caused by my own stupidity.
