WIP Beta released Simple Traffic Expansion Pack 0.3

I'm opening this thread about my LeGran Simple Traffic Expansion Pack mod so people can inform about bugs, leave feedback or make suggestions.

 

I think it would be cool to see a taxi in a sedan version, not just a wagon

May I ask if this works with Agent's Traffic mod?

 

maybe luxurious trims?

 

There are already luxury configs. The Luxe and Luxe Grandiose are vanilla, as are the facelifted SE. I already added the pre-facelift SE and Luxe Royale.

Can't say for sure, never used that mod. I made sure it works like vanilla simplified traffic, so if that mod follows the same formula, it should be compatible.

 

You've may noticed I changed the title of the thread. That's because I started working on more simplified traffic configs for other cars, starting with the Covet. Meet the ZXi and ZXi Special Edition!
If you notice the rear Covet lettering nearly invisible in some shots, that's a vanilla bug. Already reported it. And about the weird shading of the Ibishu White Dish hubcaps on the second shot, that's how it looks when using the simple traffic materials. Already tweaked the normals in Blender, and now it should look smoother.

Some tweaks (body-colored grille, "whiter" Ibishu Blades wheels...) and two new configs: Ibishu Covet GTz and Covet Street Tuner.

 

Two new Street Tuned configs for the LeGran, based on the normal/drivable Custom config.

 

Need some feedback. The simplified configs seen in the screenshots are the Ibishu Pessima DX, Covet DX, Pessima ZX and 240BX Hatchback LX. I'm not sure if I should add them, tho, as the differences with the already existing configs are quite small (Pessima DX just has different hubcaps, Covet DX a single side mirror, Pessima HX is like a GTz but with steelies and hubcaps, and the 240BX Hatchback LX is like the Coupe but with the hatchback body). What do y'all think?

will there be simplifed versions of the poilce cars?

 

No, because the AI can't handle high speed chases and the like with the simplified physics

On the other hand, I improved the Ibishu Blades wheels so they look similarly to the other simplified Ibishu wheels.

Agreed! Tbh I love simplified traffic too, and this mod is pure gold! Its cool that the community is starting to make traffic mods

 

Thanks to auegh (and some fixing and tidying up by me), the next update will feature new simplified configs for the Roamer, D-Series, H-Series, Grand Marshall, LeGran and Lansdale! Photos will be divided in two posts, as there are too many.

You'll notice some new, modified parts for the D-Series and Lansdale, like grilles and trim. The Grand Marshall is based on the Retired Police Package config, so no, they won't chase you.
