Hello, When using an (XBox One) controller, and wanting to quit out of Beam, it is tedious. You have to click into the left menu, and then click down numerous times until you reach the exit button. It would be nice if the menu cycled upon itself. This would make pressing up on the D-Pad when you are at the top of the menu bring you back to the bottom of the left menu. This would make a ~19 click interaction take only 4 clicks.
you are going to have to use mouse & keyboard after closing the game anyway - so why not simply press alt+f4 on the keyboard? one step and takes about 2 seconds.
You know you can just reach over to your keyboard and press F4 or fn + F4. If you want to exit beam its not like you can use your controller to navigate your desktop so it shouldn't be much of an inconvenience. Ninja'd by @stbest95
I play on a projector half the time using a steam link. The projector is in my basement, and the PC upstairs. Also, I keep 2 ps3 controllers plugged into both ports of my steam link. This would be extremely useful, among with being able to use the joystick to navigate.
While I'm on the more traditional PC gaming side of things and get the desktop/keyboard rationale, Steam does have Big Picture mode designed for controllers and TV/projector users, and the devs aren't expanding on the radial menus and controller support every update for no reason. It can't hurt to keep improving accessibility and ease-of-use for other control schemes in a basic industry standard way unless it's an excessively large hassle to code.
