What I think could work is semi simplified police cars. @AgentMooshroom5 said that the police AI couldn't handle the simplified traffic cars at high speeds with persisly. But what about a semi simplified traffic cars that are put under the existing car, using the existing frame but with a simpler body, it would give a little more performance but with the handling of the normal cars.
