Since the Pre-Race Update, BeamNG chooses wrong audio device on my computer

I just wanted to note this since I've been having audio problems since the pre-race update and recently found the solution. I have Virtual Audio Cable and some other audio shenanigans going that are active, but unused during normal gaming, and my speakers are set to my default audio device. This has never been a problem for the program before, but since the Pre-Race Update, I had been getting no audio. I found out the solution to this was to disable every other non-speaker playback device in Windows. This is obviously not a satisfactory solution for a finished product, but will do in the meantime for others that may be running into this problem.

Other audio devices that I had hooked up for audio out were the Virtual Audio Cable, Audio port (for headphones, the audio wasn't playing on them anyway) and some SPDIF things that were enabled. Disabling all of them

I don't know if anyone else is running into this issue, I searched the forums and didn't see it. I figure if this was potentially a big issue, other people would be having it and I wouldn't have to report it. I hope this helps someone out.

There's an audio options menu (press options on main menu, there is another tab on the right menu that says audio). I can't check right now but I think that lets you select which audio device you want to use.

    Welcome to the forums. :D

I don't know how exactly I missed that, it feels really silly. But, if I have primary sound device selected, why would it be selecting other sound devices that are not my default? Regardless, by manually selecting my speakers, that works fine. Much better solution than mine!

And thank you for the welcome; I've been using BeamNG so long, I figured I'd have posted on the forum before now, but I guess not.

I don't know, it's stupid when it comes to having multiple video solutions as well. (Laptop onboard/discrete, or the unusual rig designed to toggle back and forth between an nVidia and AMD video card for their different feature sets.) It always seems to select the wrong one by default.

I do driver testing on software, so my computer falls into the category of "unusual rig that can switch between NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards" Luckily? That has worked absolutely fine for me so far. It was just the sound issues.
