Smoke Particle Problem

    I am trying to get smoke particles to work in my map, similar to the ones like this in JRI:



    But in my map, when I try to select the same emitter and particle as the one above, nothing happens. I couldn't find anything other threads about particles at all.. Anyone know how to use these correctly?
