Im making a snowy map. I am trying to get the snow to fling up like the mud groundmodel does. Ive created a custom groundmodel file for my map and checked off enable skid marks to true. That doesnt work. What I was trying to do was change the color of the black asphalt skidmarks to a grayish snowy color, so when i drive on my snow groundmodel, it leaves behind tracks while also flinging up chunks of snow.

This has got to be possible, since the mud groundmodel already flings mud, and sand flings sand. I just cant find any clues where to look in the game files to make it work for my snow groundmodel.

Does anyone know how the mud generates mud particles? If I knew where to look im sure i could figure it out, but ive been searching for hours now.

There are some snowy places in the automation test track, so I think you can take a look at its files and figure out how to fling snow. Or figure out is there even snow flings?

The test track snow doesn’t do anything lol. It is slippery, and that is all. So I made my own snow groundnodel with more depth so you sink in it.

Thanks! this is a good start. However now I have both mud and snow particles at the same time. It doesnt seem like i can use the snow ground model and add particles to it, rather i have to use the mud groundmodel.
