So i have a mod called the Hirochi Prasu and i was wondering if there is way to skin it?

    So i have a mod called the Hirochi Prasu and i was wondering if there is way to skin it? let alone any modded vehicle.

    Well first you’ve got to look for the UV file in the car files. If not you have to create a UV platform for the car your self in blender or another program, once you’ve done either of those, open the UV platform in paint.net as a .dds file, edit the paint job of the car to your needs and/or your desires.

    Yes, if it's UV Mapped properly.

    If the author made a UV2, then you can skin it like the official vehicles: https://wiki.beamng.com/Introduction_to_skin_system
    If there is no UV2, you can still use the UV1, as far it's properly done (tutorial is the same, aside that instead of using 'overlayMap' in the materials.cs, you need to use 'diffuseMap')

    If the mod is not UV mapped properly (ie. you cannot literally skin because all the UV is crumpled into one pixel, then no, you can't.
