So i made a new car brand for BeamNG

So i got bored one day and made a new car brand for BeamNG Called PSM (Perusahaan Motor Serayu) or Serayu Motor Company in English which is an Indonesian Car Company headquartered in Purwokerto

PSM was established in 1989 by a collective of local automotive rebadgers (individuals and small firms that specialized in assembling and rebadging foreign cars for domestic use) Recognizing the potential for a true Indonesian carmaker amid Japan’s dominance in Southeast Asia, the founders pitched their vision to the government.

Backed by funding from the Indonesian Government under Suharto’s “Ekonomi Rakyat” directive, PSM was born as an experiment in homegrown industrial capability. With additional technical consulting from Japanese and South Korean engineers, PSM’s first vehicles were rebranded and mildly restyled versions of older Ibishu and Daewon models, designed to serve Indonesian families and small businesses.

The Asian Financial Crisis and President Suharto’s resignation in 1998 marked a turning point in Indonesian history and in PSM’s identity which rebranded itself from the red and blue logo into a more simplistic black logo and retaining designs from the old logo.

During this period, PSM pivoted toward more independent design and engineering work. With funding assistance from Ibishu and partnerships with automotive companies like Daewon and Arima, PSM began producing models that were no longer just rebadged copies but locally engineered evolutions.

In 2010, PSM rebranded itself again from the simplistic geometric black logo into an oval with a curve on top, symbolizing Serayu River, the name origin of the company, and the company then went downhill in 2015 due to newer and cheaper companies like Phool (Indian subsidiary of Hirochi) and went into bankruptcy in 2018 due to low demand and financial issues
