In Warsaw car ownership is near-universally affordable - the unmotorized are either those who are really poor, those who think owning a car would be inconvenient or a waste of money, or those who grew up before car ownership was common. Lower class: Anything non-exotic made between 10 and 25 years ago, usually in need of some repair. This spectrum stretches from the cheapest econoboxes (Lanos, Seicento...), to regular family cars (Focus, Passat, Civic, Mazda6...), to entry-level luxury (A4 B5/B6/B7, 5-Series E39, 9-3...). Working class: If not feeling fancy, an affordable 5-10 year old car: Fabia, Octavia, Yaris, Auris... Otherwise a slightly older midsize car (Mazda 6 Mk2/Mk3, Mondeo Mk4, Passat B7...), entry-level luxury car (A4 B7/B8, 5-Series E60/F10...), or crossover (RAV4 Mk3, Outlander Mk2, Tiguan Mk1...) Lower middle class: Cheap brand-new cars (Yaris, Duster, Fabia...), one-owner midrange used ones (Corolla, Octavia, Qashqai...), or entry-level luxury cars in the 5-10 year old range (3-Series, XC60, A4...) Middle class: Midrange new cars (Corolla, Octavia, Sportage...), or one-owner entry level luxury ones (XC60, GLC, 3-Series...). Upper middle class: New entry level luxury cars: XC40, XC60, Q5, 3-Series, CLA, NX... Upper class: New luxury cars, usually large crossovers: X5/X6, Q7/Q8, GLE, XC90, Cayenne... Wealthy: More luxurious offerings of the above brands: optioned-up X7s, 7-Series, SQ8s, GLS/S-Classes/G-Classes, Cayennes/Panameras/Taycans... Also some more exotic cars, mainly 911s.
Here in east-Netherlands (Gelderland province to be exact): Lower class: Cheap hatchbacks (Golf IV's, Clio II's, 206, Corolla, Aygo, Twingo I, 106/Saxo, Matiz, Rover 25) Working class: Second hand cars, circa €5000 (Ibiza IV, Golf VI, Megane III, 308 I) Lower middle class: Newer second hand station cars (Fabia Combi, Clio Estate, 308 II sw, Golf VII Variant) Middle class: A small leasecar (308 III, A-Class, Cee'd, Megane) And here we come to practically nonexistent in my area (i live in like an old working class area (1950's)) Upper middle class: A big leasecar (Passat, V90, Mazda6, 508 II). Upper class: Big luxury cars (Range Rover, Cayenne, XC90 (until 2015), A6, 5-series, M-class) Wealthy: Always a sports car (911) and big luxury cars (G-Wagon (that's really useless), XC90 (from 2015), S-class, A8)

Mainland China: Lower class(except those who can't afford one):Cheap Chinese small car such as Baojun 310,Beijing EC180 or second-hand Chinese compact and midsize like BYD F3 and Geely Emgrand EC7. Working class:New Chinese compact,midsize and fullsize like BYD Han,Lynk&Co 03 and Nio ES8.Foreign brand supermini(Honda Fit,VW Polo),compact(Honda Civic,Toyota Corolla,VW Golf,Nissan Qashqai)and midsize saloon/SUV(Toyota Camry,Nissan Altima/Teana,VW Passat/Magotan,VW Tiguan,Toyota RAV4,etc.) Middle class:high trim level normal foreign brand midsize and fullsize Saloon/SUV(Buick Enclave,Buick LaCrosse,high trim level VW Passat/Magotan,Toyota Avalon,Chevy Equinox,Toyota Highlander,etc),MPV(Honda Odyssey/Elyson,Toyota Sienna and Buick GL8)and some cheaper model in luxury brands' lineup(Audi A3,Audi A4L,BMW 3-Series,Mercedes C-Class,Audi Q3L),some of them,who are young and want something sporty would choose sport cars like Subaru BRZ and Ford Mustang Upper middle class:Luxury brand fullsize saloon(Audi A6L,Mercedes E-Class,BMW 5-Series,Cadillac CT6)and SUV(BMW X5,Audi Q5L,Audi Q7).Sometimes they buy non-luxury brand off-roaders like Toyota Land Cruiser,Land Cruiser Prado and Nissan Patrol in order to get into and run smoothly in the construction site they contracted. Wealthy:anything expensive you could imagine(Any Rolls-Royce,Mercedes S-Class,Audi A8L,Mercedes G-Wagon and exotic supercars from Europe)
Well, almost all the high schoolers here drive super clean second-gen Luminas. Like seriously, there’s a shit-ton of 90s Luminas. but a few high schoolers actually have taste. Some of their cars include: A late 60s GMC K10 A mid 70s Mustang II with a yellow and black Bumblee-esque paintjob An early 80s BMW sedan An 80s Mercedes wagon A late-70s Dodge Adventurer pickup and more (those are their second vehicles, their dailies are probably super-clean Luminas lol
