A rallytrack inspired by Swedish landscapes. There are several roads to drive on, but the cones indicate the intended rally stage. When the racepatch is released i will update the map with timers and triggers. Latest version uploaded on 17 november 2013.
I might join you there but I will hide the foliage to increase graphics performance but yeah I am kinda looking forward to it
This map looks awesome. It's just what I've been waiting for. But it looks like I'll need a god computer to run it :/ I guess that means I'm not gonna get it D:
Always says Failed to Create something. Can't even play it and if you do click all the error ok's it gives you some buggered up mainly blank flat map
Its actually not very demanding. Ive got the same fps on my map as i do on dry rock. Although it might be because ive set lighting to lowest. I dont know how to fix the "failed to create resource", I get them myself but I just click ok. Is anyone else having this problem with a blank map?
open the file beamNG.drive/levels/Someones_rallytrack/someones_rallytrack.mis with notepad++ got to search and then search in files. search for "levels/Industrial/" and replace with "levels/Someones_rallytrack/" (important for all files in the folder and subfolder). it will change 26 files. this will fix the blank map. but there are 2 files missing in your zip-file: /art/shapes/rocks/DRI_rock_f.dae /art/shapes/rocks/DRI_rock_e.dae

I did that and it only changed 4 lines, ive been in the mis file and changed some lines earlier. There is no "levels/Industrial/" left, and it still doesnt work. dri_rock_e doesnt exists in the file either, there has to be another config file somewhere that is referencing those two rocks. Edit: You ment every file in every map? That explains alot
you fix it by putting the missing file in misc or buildings in shapes in this map's folder (its okay that you didnt know this i learned this from a tutorial a long time ago when i was making a map)

Thank you for bearing with me. I wasnt reading your post properly, I just assumed that you meant search and replace (in document only). Giving it another go, lets see if it works. Edit: Works like a charm New version is uploaded (004).
Very fun map so far. Only issue I can see is the texture for the cones does not show up. Otherwise, I enjoy it.
* constant little infuriating fps hiccups as i drive through the map (shouldn't be hardware related: i5 4670k, gtx 760, ssd) - i guess it's loading textures? * game crashes in nearly the same spot every time (driving past here: http://i.imgur.com/h9t29Jz.jpg) * not really fun to rally... the terrain is way too jagged and bumpy. it's kinda fun in a truck but it eats cars alive. edit: i got past where the game usually crashes. the roads became much more rally-like and fun to drive. the start is still very dicey though!
sorry I meant that it would allow for a higher frame rate due to that your not processing the foliage which really kills the FPS
