I have a cheap wheel(The Thrustmaster Ferrari Red Legend wheel), and for some reason, although it worked fine for a while, not the pedals are being detected as buttons and not an axis, which means that if I just tap them it goes to full throttle. I don't know why it is doing this, and it's doing it in BeamNG and Forza 7(Have not tested with any other games). Does anybody know how to fix this?
Apparently there's a switch on the front to select between PC and PS3 modes. Check that it's set to PC. Also, make sure you have the drivers installed: https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/ferrariredlegend-en/
I used to have this same exact wheel, and had similar issues. i dont remember how i fixed it, but i think it involved restarting my computer. I also opened up the drivers with the steering wheel plugged in and messing with some of the settings, but i cant remember exactly what i did. sorry :/
After you set to PC mode, try resetting your bindings (big 'RESET ALL' button in the Controls menu) And manually check if the 'Steering' binding settings are fine (take a screenshot a post here if you need help)
