spare files

hey, how about a space on this site where people can download spare files.

for instance, for some reason my east coast usa map is just flat grassland with all the objects halfway in the ground and so on.
i don't know how to fix this so it would be very helpful if i could download a new east coust usa file here so the map would work normally again.

no matter what i still need a new east coast file.

click on steam - beamng-right click - verify stuff

 

as far as i know this just checks the if the files are there and working, and they are there and working, it's just that the ground is flat.

 

I think it also checks against a CRC though, hence the 'working'

 

well i tried and its still flat as the earth was 2000 years ago so no luck there.

i do know what the problem is tho, i used the files from ECU to make my own map and i did rename them before putting the new folder in the game dir but somehow it still keeps changing both maps in stead of just the new one.

its more of a trouble shooting than a idea sugestiton now but maybe some bright mind can help me out

 

Just delete the east coast out of your beamng maps folder and verify integrity of game cache. That will make steam redownload the map.
