Spawning cars, and keeping them. Also, editing edited cars.

I have only had the game for a few hours and so far im enjoying it.

A few things im trying to figure out. Trying to make a show room maps of sorts where i can spawn all my cars ive customized and have them stay, also on map reload. Is this possible? Persistent car spawns?


Also, i did a customization to, i think, the default truck. I saved it undera new name, can i re edit that save again or do i have to start all over again?

 

I dont know enough about the first one to answer it, but for editing saved configs, just load the config, make your choice and either save it as a new one, or save it with the same name, and it will overwrite(the button should change from "save" to "overwrite")

 

Technically couldn't you make a scenario that automatically spawns the cars when you play it?

 

You could save the map with the cars in it.

 

Yep I always forgot to delete other car before saving my map, and after I don't understand why my game is laging ^^

 

I havent gotten around to making a map yet, hoping to tackle that tomorrow.

I have figured out loading and saving over saves. Tho i still havent figured out how to delete from that list. Is it possible to remove a car from the configuration lists?

 

Yes. Delete "Documents\BeamNG.drive\vehicles\VEHICLENAME\CONFIGNAME.pc". This deletes the configuration.

 

So i have to go outside of the game to delete a car from the config list? lol. Thats interesting.
