Speedometer "Lag"/Delay

    So when you are driving in a, let's say, 2021 BMW and you're accelerating from 0-100, it'll look a bit like this:
    0
    13
    26
    33
    49
    60
    69
    78
    84
    90
    97
    102

    However in the game, digital speedos are the exact same like the "real" speedo. Would be nice if you could turn it on or off also.

    take a look at this video, at around 0:55

    Note that the digital speed readout, on the left, only updates around every 0.2 seconds.

    I've heard various claims about why car makers do this, from saving processing power or prolonging the gauge screen's life,
    to it supposedly being "easier to read" due to the numbers not moving "too quickly".
    IMO, it's a dumb & useless feature, but it certainly would be more realistic to add it.

    Hi,

    What happened to this thread? I personally would LOVE more laggy digital speedometers. Is there maybe a way to edit the "fps" of the digital speedometer in the car files?
