This game has such amazing features, I wish all driving games had these features and physics built in, but most important, i love playing with my friends. I have two steering wheels and sitting down on a split screen racing game is just one of the funnest games to play with a friend. If this game had the split screen feature for a second or even four way screen split for four players at a time it might just completely set the game off as my absolute favorite driving game.
Also adding AI's is amazing. Having a race, or a cop chase, or just placing them to smash into and see what happens it amazing. But, what if you could split the screen up for them to and be able to see what exactly the AI is doing. Such as a first person view of the AI driver or or police officer in a chase.
And finally, the career coming soon tab. . . I can't wait to see whats to come, but one more great idea to this coming tab, co - op driving missions. Say your buddy is in a transport mission and the get away car breaks down, if you're in split screen co - op the second player could grab another car, or a flatbed truck and save the mission.
Drag racing, hill climbs, circuit racing, mud bogs, tractor pulls, or just free roam push your friend off the road to see who lasts the longest. With split screen, its truly endless with this game.

Agree, but it has been suggested many times. The reason we don't have it yet is that Torque3D, the graphics engine of this game is so bad that it cannot have split screen with playable FPS. You would need a monster PC to run it, or play the game at lowest settings.
    Edit-
They switched from Cryengine to Torque3D because it opened more physics possibilities and allowed the game to be better, non-graphically.

they didnt switch from unreal to torque - they switched from cryengine to torque (even worse imo but they wanted a free engine).
your right about the rest, torque is a terrible engine and having 2 viewpoints is apparently way too much for it :(

I'm sure splitscreen will be a thing eventually, they've been working on optimising the engine and over time more powerful computer components will be made so eventually I'm sure they will add it.

Lol that backfired on them, cryengine is now free (no royalties either).
    But wait!
It's only free for non commercial uses only. That's why you don't trust offers that are too good to be true.

thats true, but imagine how nice this game could look and how well it could run if they were still using the cryengine :(
    just makes me sad.
