I'm hyped. I preordered tickets the day of release and I keep seeing the trailers on TV. Can't wait.

I'm not going opening day, I'm going on the 22nd although I pre ordered Starwars Battlefront;)

The movie seems pretty cool and I'm hyped for the game:)

Actually I think that Star Wars have already ends in ep.6 (1983), and I think this one is just for making money.
(my opinion, if you don't like it, don't say anything rude)

Okay. I think that is halfway true but soooooo many people wanted another episode. And the Force Awakens is a completely different story, so it couldn't have ended.

I'm actually not that excited. I liked the developed story line that the extended universe already had, and most of them had to go through an approval process with Lucas before being published anyway.

I feel like Abrams could have at least used some of the names the EU already had. but I feel like he and Disney are going to ruin star wars more than they already have with the Clone War series. :-/

Saw the original 57 times in the theatre. Nothing the human race can do will ever capture the beautiful memories
of that summer. Good to see the legacy continue though.

That's like saying if Abrams started to make a Lord of the Rings movie, but decided to throw out all of Tolkien's characters so he could make his own. The story and lore was already there. I'm not saying he needed to follow the books 100%, besides most people haven't even read them. The problem I have is that he's just ignoring all of that so that he can make up anything he feels like.

Tbh, I'm not that interested in star wars in general. Never watched any of the movies and probably won't watch 'em any time soon.
