"start traffic in freeroam" option is entirely missing from my settings UI

trying to get the police to spawn in RLS career mod, it needs the "start traffic in freeroam" option unchecked (turned OFF). i understand this is a mod so i have already done most of the suggestions i am likely to get. verified game files, cleared cache, pressed F5 to reload the UI, ran in safe mode without the mod. I even reinstalled the game. none of that fixed it. it is simply gone. i haven't seen anything in the update patchnotes about removing that feature so i am really puzzled by this UI glitch, especially when the RLS team specifically noted to turn it off on the version intended for 0.38.3. I am not looking for another way around this, because i want the police to spawn in RLS career mode. While i understand this might be a problem for their team to work out (more than beam's team), it doesnt even work in a fresh reinstall of vanilla beam.

 

I'm having the same problem! I thought I was going crazy that I couldn't find the option. I thought it was an issue with the RLS mod, but like you, safe mode didn't fix it. I hope someone finds a fix soon.

Update: by reading in the RLS discord I discovered a hidden menu, Main Menu > More > Overhaul manager. This menu has a toggle for police in the RLS mod, and I can confirm I now have police. I still don't have the "start freeroam with traffic" option, but I don't care! I am curious though if the mod has anything to do with its disappearance. I wonder if someone that hasn't downloaded the mod would see that option or if it is a BeamNG thing. Hope this helps!
