WIP Static object will not stay deleted

    Hello, I have started a new map and noticed that this object reappears every time the level loaded. I used an old map I was working on as a template and deleted all objects and started a new terrain block. This object is not in the scene tree either.

    However, It retains all of the information about it from when it was first put into the old map.
    any advice on keeping it deleted?

    Have you cleared the cache?
    Beamng keeps a cached version of the map (cdae) which would usually be the cause for something like this.

    I have cleared the cache a few times since it first appeared, but it stayed in place. I put it off in the distance and ignored it on the old map because it was big enough to hide it away.
    I tried to delete it by clearing everything from the old map minus textures, but no go.

    However, thanks to your advice, I located every instance of the object and deleted them, which cleared up the issue.
