Steam won't let me update game

    I bought this game through Steam, and whenever I press play, it says that it couldn't contact the servers to update.

    Any help? :confused:

    You may have problems with your connection (or somehow Steam is not able to connect to its database)
    Try steam in offline mode.

    Offline, it says no internet connection.

    Online, it says content servers unreachable

    Maybe your Steam lost connection while the game was updating leaving it in the middle of the process?
    Have you tried to unistall the game and reinstall it eventually?

    I tried to reinstall the game and it pulls up the error message again. Now I can't reinstall the game at all.

    I searched missing content manifest for steam, and there was a steam forum that was about this problem, but they were having it for first person shooting games.
    One user gave a solution, and that was to change the download region to Vietnam. I did this and it didn't work. Steam help didn't reply to that forum so I don't know what's left to do :/

    as i said, contact steam support, open a steam support ticket, this is a steam bug not a BeamNG one, BeamNG GmbH does not have any ties or control over steams content distribution.
