Are you able to do it through a google drive link?
i did post google drive link but post didnt accepted, i did uploaded it to modland
Do you mind if I post a google drive link here? I managed to upload it to my drive just fine.
now is working,... strange
Good day a friend and i are currently trying to play this map in Multiplayer the only issue is that it wont show up in his game. I have already tried everything i could think of like clearing cache reinstalling the mod and so on the funny thing is it shows up in his mod manager but not in his game also for me it works just fine
Make sure has has activated the mod and that the zip is placed in the correct folder:
yes already did that and made sure its active it still wont show up though
The zip must contain to following folder structure to load:
The latest version from a few post above does not contain the 'levels' subfolder!
Thanks i will try to do that then.
Tried doing this but it's still not working for me...
i tried but it won't let me create a new folder and i'm not sure what to put in it if it did work
You need to unzip the 'passostelvio.zip', then create a folder called 'levels' and copy the unzipped folder 'passostelvio' into it.
After that you zip the 'levels' folder and the rename the new zip-file to 'passostelvio.zip'.
This zip-file then must have the follwoing folder structure: 'passostelvio.zip\levels\passostelvio\...[level files and folders]...'
This new zip-file goes into 'repo'-folder of the most recent BeamNG version, for example 'C:\Users\[your-user-name]\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.23\mods\repo' .
Still doesn't work for me despite the mod having the correct folder path... Please see attached.
Edit: The only difference is that I can't find a 'repo' folder within the 'mods' folder, although I haven't had any problems downloading other mods recently.
It should work in the 'mods' folder, too.
If there are any 'passiostelvio' related files/folders in the '..\0.23\levels\..', delete them and clear the whole 'temp' folder.
Maybe BeamNG can't handle the zip format, if it isn't using standard compression values. Try it with the Windows-integrated zip function und 'send-to'.
Besides that, i can't think of any other obvious solutions.
Check the '..\0.23\mods\db.json' for any entry of 'passiostelvio'. Should look like this:
This is weird because I followed all those steps exactly as you said and the mod still doesn't show up in the game. I also followed the same process to zip the file but with no success.
--- Post updated ---
So I launched the game once again and the map now appears in the map selector page. Not sure what changed but it all seems to be good now.
Is this the only mod that you have problems with? And you are sure it isn't deactivated in the repository mod manger tab in the menu?!?
At this point i have no more ideas, other than to upload the zip i use. Be sure to delete/remove any other passistelvio file from the 0.23 folder, start the game once and after closing copy the new file into the folder. Here the link to the file: https://filehorst.de/d/eDndyjta
After this there is no more i can do for help.
Dig the map!! It just needs to be more flat because every time my wife needs to use the bathroom, there is no place to pull over and I manage to burn up my brakes so I don't have to listen to her complain the entire trip up the mountain. Same thing on the way down the mountain, nag, nag, nag.... Until I hit a tree and the car explodes. Yes! Thanks bro! love the map!!
can someone post a fixed version of the map?
Literally 3 post prior to yours i posted a link to a fixed version and the 5 posts before that are on how to fix it yourself.
Next time make a tiny effort in reading some posts on the topic!
