Stop auto shifting

anyway to imitate and auto with a manual valve body. using a 2 speed trans that when in second will downshift to 1st. in real life the trans will stay in 2nd. is there anyway to stop it shifting on its own?

 

I suspect I totally misunderstood the point of this topic xD

My response to that is how to setup the shifter so M can be used with the h shifter. I use a g27 and M is a spot designated, but i would like to still be able to use it to shift like a sequential

 

This is what I attempted with the semi-auto transmission for my mod.

Too bad my testers hated it...

 

Your mod is what im doing it with man, lol. I used 1 gear for about a weak, since that is what XDP uses i believe. He has forward, N, and reverse

 

PNRM/PNR12 worked fine, but my testers disliked it.

Also, the absence of a "D" mode apparently prevented the shifter prop to move, so I rolled back the change.

 

I tried to gear it where it wouldnt downshift into 1 but i couldnt get it. M1 and 2 does it. But with the H shifter i cant treat it like a shifter like 1-2 would. So i have to use the right buttons on he h shifter, 3-4. I put the shifter in drive so it doesnt interfere with my hand. Is it possible to put, PNRM?? So i dont have go through neutral in case i need to put it into reverse?

 

Next mod update is planned for Friday. I'll PM you the experimental tranny if you want to give it a try.
