    Is there any way to modify the cars so that the driveshaft dosen't break all the time?Is there also a way to stop the engine from stalling from a big crash?

    New to the game so it might already have been answered, but please help!

    You can modify strength of driveshafts etc. from _wheels_R.jbeam, _wheels_F.jbeam, _suspension.jbeam files inside car folder, using for example Notepad++. BACKUP original files before modifications. Take time when experimenting with those. For example, i ended up making Ibishu Covet about 600 hp, tires widened to 345 mm, suspension/tires strengthened so that they will not be broken at the first acceleration, and better steering.

    Your second question, i found out that when engine stalls, pressing q twice (changing from auto-> manual-> auto) sometimes does help, when front of car has not taken so much damage that engine hasn't blown in pieces.

    Thank you devs for making those files so modding-friendly :) I think those stats would be even better to modify using something GUI like GT5 suspension settings in long run, maybe separate application for car tuning and modification?

    theres a section in the vehicle.jbeam its around line 137 and it says this;
    "engine":{
    "onBeamBreakDisableDriveshaft":["hatch_driveshaft_F"]

    delete it and no more breaking drive shafts

    There is no "vehicle.jbeam" he only used it as an example.
    super.jbeam, fullsize.jbeam etc. are vehicle.jbeams, just replace the word "vehicle" with the car you want to modify :)

    Just press q three times after the car is disabled, that will solve it.
