Strange floating square

I hope this isn't to small to post, but there is a strange purple square in the middle of Small Islan (for me atleast).
Edit: Also when I drive in it, it shows a big red dot on the vehicle.

 

Restarting the game usually helps

 

Ah, so it was a known issue? sorry about that.

 

Oh no that's what I meant but thats how I solve most of my problems... If it's still there then it's a problem

 

I believe that is an event trigger box, but there is no event binded to the box, and the red dot is, what I'm guessing, to be an indicator that this vehicle triggered the event box. But that's just my guess, don't quote me on it.

 

This seems to be the case, i'm not certain either but it is at the starting line on the race track.

 

It's a trigger box. It'll be used for a race system later.
