strange fps issue

for some reason whenever i am playing beamng, and i click settings my fps goes from 100 to 15 even when im not in settings anymore, it stays at 15fps.

also sometimes when i click settings it would just crash the game.


i have tried reinstalling the game, and disabling all my mods. but no change

i have never had this issue before it just happened out of nowhere.

Yeah, this often happened to me when I used a laptop, and it sometimes even happens on my current PC too. It only happens in Vulkan as far as I can tell.
