strange gameplay behavior

Hello, whenever I boot up beamng(and only beamng) my graphics card, which is a ftw3 rtx 3070 is pinned at 30-40% usage, while in other games it is going to 100% utilization.

I've looked at guides and such, and nothing is working.

Does anyone have a solution.


My cpu does the same, which is an i7 10700k.

 

what kind of PC is it? (acer, asus, razer, etc)

 

Maybe because it doesn't have to be at 100%? It's a powerful card, so I wouldn't think it would be at 100% all the time. Also, maybe vsync is on.

 

Agree with above, BeamNG is not particularly GPU intensive, it tends to be bottlenecked by the CPU.

Are you getting poor performance?

 

If your performance is fine, then there's nothing to worry about. BeamNG isn't very graphically intensive, so It's normal to see it not use all of your GPU, especially when you have something as powerful as a 3070.

My performance while doing something intensive is around 40-48fps.
