Strange torque curves.

    Hi. I have noticed some strange things about a few engines' torque curves. For example, for some reason increasing the rpm limit on supercharged cars makes them have more torque and more power... (And no, the peak power wasn't higher in the rpms than the limit. The numbers just suddenly rise for no reason...) I have noticed this thing on the moonhawk, grand marshal and d-series.
    Also, while using a 6.0 diesel LOWERING the rpm limit somehow makes the turbo spool up faster, so the engine makes more torque.
    Has anybody else noticed this and is there an explination to this? Thank you.
