After watching the Gymkhana video, I noticed that drifting and speed are very well executed. If there was a city map, we could get AI cars to race and we could drift and pit manouver em'. I don't think this has been brought up, (I searched)
It would be fun, but i doubt it will be possible because of the fact that 1 car equals to 1 physical core (which means that most computers wont be able to handle more than 4 cars in the game).
HOLY COW!!! 1 Physical core EACH??? My PC has four cores. Well, there goes my idea of an 8 car demolition derby.
There's that, & then there's the question of making the other cars follow a route (which has been discussed a lot already, see here [& in some other topics] ).
wait 1 core each car? If it would be like that, it couldnt be used for any video games (at this time)
If you play multiplayer you should be able to play more because you'll only calculate your own car with one core, the rest up to each computer/player and you only download their location/data? Would be badass to be like 8 people racing in a city.
No problem. I will just install the game on my workstation at work. 16 Cores and 32 Threads anyone hehe At home max 6 cars anyways... But will try later on anyways to let 6 cars fall off a cliff lol
