Have you even bothered to open a jbeam file with the text editor or look in the wiki?

Find beams, change beamDeform values, check results.

Fine I'll give you one hint: Make a configuration for the car that is just a bare shell with no parts added, and use this to examine the main structure of the car to see which beams you should edit.

Since we are on the topic, that was actually from zxbobxz. I quoted him. :p I also think the speed quote was either hati, gabe, or 6677.

Tell' ya what slick, you explain in detail what you are trying to accomplish and maybe someone (like me perhaps), would be willing to point you in the right direction. There are a few of us
dedicated to making these cars stronger/weaker at will. Pardon my assumed "assholishness", but you need to take the initiative and provide in depth detail on what you want. This isn't
skip diddly doo fucking playtime around here.:p

I dont think so. Not really anyways. It originated from a saying that said "its not the fall that kills you, its the sudden stop at the bottom"

Jeremy clarkson has used it before yes, but I've heard it as a kid long before he ever said it on Top Gear. Its an old school saying.

Well then.. I guess I was mistaken then. I know JC used those exact words which is why I mentioned him but it does make sense that it is just an adaptation of the old saying.

As for strength of the cars (to get back on topic) are there any cars in the game yet mods or official that have the strength of Saab's? http://vimeo.com/44087332 Skip to about the 10 minute mark if you don't want to watch it all. That's where they talk about how Saab made their cars incredibly safe in crashes.
