So I'm sure most of us have heard of or even played either Stuntman or Stuntman Ignition, two video games on the PS2, PS3, or Xbox 360. If not, you've definitely played the Hustle and Bustle campaign in Beamng. I've been thinking, if it's not too difficult to implement of course, a campaign, or even campaigns, focused around doing stunts for certain movies, such as a 70s detective movie in West Coast, or a Italian Job Knockoff in Italy, or even a Dukes of Hazard parody that takes place in East Coast. It could evolve taking a certain vehicle, such as a Bruckell Moonhawk Sport, Gavril Bluebuck 291 V8 Coupe, Ibishu Covet Custom, etc, and driving through a series of markers that tell you what to do, such as smashing through a object, passing close to a object, jumping off a ramp and landing in a indicated spot, etc. It would be amazing to live out the fantasy of being a stunt driver in the most realistic driving game on the market, though if it's too difficult to implement or not what the developers want from a game, that's perfectly okay, I'm just making a suggestion after all.

TLDR: A single campaign or multiple campaigns based off being a stunt driver for various movies, like in Stuntman and Stuntman Ignition.

I remember a legacy community member named Hati suggested this a few years before Hustle and Bustle came out. I don't even remember if campaigns existed at that time, but a Stuntman-inspired action game was a straightforward, attainable idea even back then. Even I gave it a go at one point*. Anyway, with a wealth of cars and maps to choose from, it seems pretty easy to create something like this as a mod. Especially now that we have scriptAI.

*If you're reading this, please don't try joining the Studio group. The mod is hideously outdated. I haven't taken in a new member in two years and I still get an update weekly from people wanting to join. The cover art's cool, but there's not much else to see. Trust me.

I know this thread is old now, but I thought of some examples for movies/stunts:

    Location: Industrial Site

Learn the basics of being a stuntman with a few tutorial levels. Tutorials include:

Handling various vehicles at high speeds

    Driving over loose/bumpy terrain

Basic vehicle stunts (Bootleg turns, reverse 180s, drifting, etc)

Advanced vehicle stunts (Driving on two wheels, driving in reverse at high speeds, avoiding sudden obstacles, etc)

    And more if necessary

    The Roys of Maine

    Location:
    East Coast, USA

Movie Description: A low budget action/comedy movie from the mid 2000s. The plot revolves around the Roy Brothers as they try to get enough money in order to prevent their family farmhouse from being foreclosed by the corrupt mayor while staying one step ahead of the law.

    Stunt Runs:

    Late Delivery:

    Vehicle:
Modified orange 1976-1977 Bruckell Moonhawk V8 Sport

Description: Race against the clock as you double for Marty Roy, who's struggling to deliver his load of moonshine to his client on time. Drive through the back-roads and land a few small jumps as you attempt to finish your delivery on time. The major stunt is near the end, where you'll have to use a flatbed truck to jump over a 3 car collision that's blocking the road before coming to a complete stop in the gas station.

    I Fought the Law:

    Vehicle:
Modified orange 1976-1977 Bruckell Moonhawk V8 Sport

Description: Attempt to lose Deputy Dixon in his Bluebuck Police Car in the small town before making your way back home. The major stunt is near the end, where you'll have to narrowly avoid a H-series that's passing through an intersection, the pursuing Bluebuck getting side swipe by it after you pass. Keep your speed up to stay ahead of the police car, or else they'll have to call a reshoot.

    Stock Car Smash Up:

    Vehicle:
Modified orange 1976-1977 Bruckell Moonhawk V8 Sport

Description: Race against 3 other muscle cars in order to get the prize money to save your home. Race through the narrow roads of the East Coast, using a few indicated shortcuts along the way, and take the checkered flag. The major stunt is near the middle of the race, where one of the drivers will hit a flip ramp that's put behind a truck on the side of the road and out of shot, and you'll need to slam on your brakes and turn hard right onto a dirt road, where you'll soon use a small ramp to jump back into the race.

    Runnin' Outta Time:

    Vehicle:
Modified orange 1976-1977 Bruckell Moonhawk V8 Sport

Description: After getting enough money to save your home, race toward town hall as fast as you can, avoiding traffic, trees, and police cars who want to stop you at all costs. The major stunt is near the end, where you'll jump across a big gap on a broken bridge with the help of some nitro and a flatbed truck.

    Turbo Burst

    Location:
    West Coast, USA

Movie Description: A highly popular street racing film that now has at least a dozen sequels. Race through the streets Belasco as fast as possible in heavily modified street cars.

    Stunt Runs:

    New Kid on the Block:

    Vehicle:
    Modified Hirochi Sunburst Sport RS

    Description:
Race a few modified cars in the dead of night while dodging traffic. The major stunt is near the end, where you'll have to drive through a narrow gap in order to avoid two squad cars that try to block the road in front of you as two other cars crash into them behind you.

    Going Underground:

    Vehicle:
    Modified Ibishu 200BX Type-LS

Description: Race against a famous highwayman in order to gain the trust of him and his crew. The major stunt is near the middle of the run, where you'll have to make a bootleg turn in the docks and use a pile of dirt to jump over a barricade and a police blockade in order to continue the race.

    Test Drive:

    Vehicle:
Civetta Bolide 390 GTR Group A

Description: After boosting a 1980s race car from the back of a semi truck, avoid cops and damaging your new ride as you bring it to the Highwayman's warehouse. The Major stunt is near the beginning of the run, where you'll need to drive through a narrow alleyway as fast as you can before making a hard left drift while avoiding traffic.

    Blazing Bolide:

    Vehicle:
Heavily modified Hirochi Sunburst Sport RS

Description: The Highwayman's trying to escape custody in the Bolide you brought him! Use your heavily modified Sunburst in order to keep up with him and bring him to justice! The major stunt is at the end of the run, where the Bolide will lose control on the Platin Gate Bridge after crashing through a police roadblock, and you'll have to drive through the gap the Bolide created before performing a bootleg turn and stopping just ahead of the now totaled Bolide.

    Black Burnside

    Location:
    Utah, USA

Movie Description: A horror movie focused around a group of teenagers who cut off a modified Burnside Special and then proceed to get tormented by it.

    Stunt Runs:

    Road Rage:

    Vehicle:
    Burnside Lead Sled

Description: Chase down a ETK 3000i in the dead of night in the middle of the dessert. The major stunt is near the end where the ETK will suddenly switch lanes on the highway and you'll have to swerve off the road in order avoid some rocks and boulders without falling off the cliff.

    Hide and Seek:

    Vehicle:
    Blue ETK 3000i

Description: In order to try to lose the Burnside, drive through the abandoned mineshafts where the Burnside seems to cut you off at every turn. The major stunt is in the middle of the run, where you'll be driving through a mineshaft when the Burnside turns on it's highbeams while being in the middle of the tunnel. You'll then have to stop, back up, and reverse 180 once your out in the open, and drive out of the mine as fast as you can.

    Hot Pursuit:

    Vehicle:
    Gavril D-Series Park Ranger

Description: Attempt to chase down the Burnside through Utah in attempt to save the teenagers in their ETK. The major stunt comes at the end, where the Burnside will push your truck onto a flip ramp on the bridge, causing your car to rollover multiple times. Make sure to hit the ramp with your right wheels, otherwise you won't flip and you'll have to restart.

    Stand Your Ground:

    Vehicle:
    ETK 3000i

Description: After being chased most of the night, now is the time to finally take down the Burnside. The major stunt is at the end, where you'll need to stop your car near a cliff edge, reversing at the last second as the Burnside tries to ram you off, ending the Burnside's fun with a cliché cliff dive.

These are just a few small ideas, but I think you get the point.

I thought of another possible way to implement more stunt driving missions as one off scenarios; commercials!

    Possible commercials and stunt runs:

    Rapid Taxi

    Location: West Coast, USA

    Vehicle: Gavril Grand Marshal Taxi

Description: Race through the streets and narrow alleyways of Belasco city as various other rival taxis try to stop you! The key stunt happens at the end, when three Yield Cab Co. Pessimas form a road block at the bottom of the hill in front of the pier, so you'll need to use a makeshift ramp in the form of a flatbed truck in order to jump over the taxis, land on the pier, and come to a complete stop at the end.

    Grip-All

    Location: Hirochi Raceway

    Vehicle: Hirochi Sunburst Track (DCT)

Description: Drive one lap around the Hirochi Raceway against other Sunbursts that have tires made by Grip-All's competitors. The gag is that every other car but yours will have tire related incidents throughout the race, and your car will be the only one at the finish line. The key stunt is on the final straight, where two cars ahead of you will each have a blowout, causing them to slam into each other, bounce off of one another, and go into a spin. Once both cars bounce off of each other and start to spin, you'll rocket through the gap in between them and cross the finish line.

    Okudai

    Location: East Coast, USA

    Vehicle: Ibishu 200BX Type-L

Description: Drive throughout the East Coast, making various pit stops at various Semi Trucks with Okudai trailers and receiving upgrades for your car along the way, such as a new exhaust, wheels, a turbocharger, etc. The key stunt is the final stunt, where you'll drag race against a Civetta Bolide 390GT on a very narrow road outside of town, using a nitrous oxide system to pull ahead at the last second, winning the race. The run will end with the tagline "Okudai; getting the most out of your car."

    Motoring

    Location: Utah, USA

    Vehicle: Ibishu Covet Student Driver

Description: Navigate your way through utter chaos along the narrow and tricky roads of Utah in your little Covet to prove that Motoring makes the safest drivers. The key stunt is at the end, when two tanker trucks will crash into each other head on at a T junction, and you'll have to stop your car before hitting them.

Justice Driver: Generic Knight Rider parody with some absolutely terrible sequels.

    Smooth Criminals

    Location: Utah, USA

    Car: Soliad Wendover F.A.T.T.

Description: Chase down two bad guys in D10 Charros, do a 180, hit a flip ramp to ski the car to avoid an RPG added in the edit that hits the first truck, then at the end jump over the charro, and block the road with your vehicle.

    Floor 9, Please

    Location: West Coast USA

Car: Soliad Wendover F.A.T.T. Stunt Car (it's just fatt with no interior and a rollcage)

Description: Drive the stunt car off of a building into the smashable window of the next (marked). The less damage the better.

    Rocket Jumps and Rescues

    Location: East Coast USA

    Car: Soliad Wendover F.A.T.T.

Drive the stunt car as fast as you can over the small jump over the farm river, park at the farmhouse and wait 10 seconds, drive to Firwood while running from a Moonhawk Elite Custom (that eventually hits a tree HARD) and park in the box.

This is really fun, definitely gonna do a Blues Bros. parody at some point

    Ride or Die

    Location:
    West Coast, USA.

Movie Description: A early '90s crime drama about the horrors of gang life. The plot revolves around a small group of young adults living in the low income areas around Belasco City, doing whatever it takes to let themselves and their friends survive the next 24 hours while the rest of the city doesn't even know they exist.

    Stunt Runs:

    Two-One-One:

    Vehicle:
    Modified Bluebuck 353 Hardtop Lowrider

Description: After robbing a local gas station to help pay for his mom's medical bills, the main lead has to ourun the cops and make it back home without getting busted. The key stunt happens near the end of the run, where you'll have to run through a red light at a busy intersection, narrowly missing a Wentward DT40L that's passing through, You'll need to get as close to the front of the DT40L as you can for dramatic effect, and once you pass, the two pursuing cops will crash into the bus, allowing you to race back home.

    Running Scared:

    Vehicle:
    1986 Bruckell Legran S

Description: Play as the younger brother of the main lead, running from a rival gang car that will do whatever it takes to take you out. The final stunt as at the end on the freeway, where the pursuing Moonhawk V8 Sport will ram your car off the highway and into a dirt embankment, causing your car to rollover violently. Once your car settles, the Moonhawk will pull up next to you and fire a lot of blanks into your car, causing it to explode, before speeding away.

    Retaliation:

    Vehicle:
    Modified Bluebuck 353 Hardtop Lowrider

Description: This scene takes place near the end of the movie, where you play as the main lead, chasing down the Moonhawk that killed your little brother. The key stunt is towards the end of the run, where the Moonhawk will spin out into the middle of an intersection, coming to a stop, and you'll need to ram your car into the Moonhawk's driver door as fast as you can, avenging your brother, and getting the attention of every cop in the area.

    Last Stand:

    Vehicle:
    Damaged Bluebuck 353 Hardtop Lowrider

    The Autobello Heist

    Location:
    Italy

Movie Description: A 1980s remake of a late 1960s cult classic comedy caper film that surprisingly stays true to the original... for the most part. The plot revolves around a few professional British robbers who decide to pull off the biggest score they can think of; stealing a lot of unmarked gold bars from the biggest bank in Italy. Using a trio of heavily modified Autobello Piccolinas, the gang use lots of planning, choreographed driving, and determination in order to get the job done.

    Stunt Runs:

    Dead End:

    Vehicle:
    1981 Civetta Bolide 350

Description: Play as a retired bank robber as he drives through the Italian countryside, planning how to perform the heist he has planned without getting caught. However, while he's being distracted by his planning, he's failed to realize that the Italian mob has found out about his scheming, and they're not very happy about it. After rounding a blind corner at full speed, you will have to slam your Bolide into a parked excavator, killing the robber and kickstarting the movie. There's no real tricky stunts in this scene, so it's best to treat it more as a time trial with an explosive finale.

    Follow the Leader:

    Vehicle:
Modified 1965 Autobello Piccolina 130 A (Rally suspension, Tubular front bumper, roll cage, Racing 1.3L F4 engine, rear mounted oil cooler, Autobello Type 1 wheels)

Description: After successfully stealing the gold bars and loading them into their cars, the bank robbers will have to preform a lot of choreographed driving in order to out smart and out drive the local Polizia. You will play as the driver of the Blue Piccolina, trying to keep up with your fellow drivers as they race through narrow alleyways, down stairways, and up onto sidewalks to avoid police roadblocks. Since this run, and every run after this, is extremely choreographed, precision will be more important than speed, so focus on trying to keep your car in one piece throughout the run. The tricky stunt is actually in the middle of the run, where you'll need to drive down two sets of stairways without crashing into the back of the other two Piccolinas. Remember to slow down before driving down the stairs so you don't wreck your suspension or oil pan!

    Dockside Dance:

    Vehicle:
    Modified 1965 Autobello Piccolina 130 A

Description: After being temporarily separated from the other drivers, the lead role will have to lose the Polizia in the docks by driving around and onto shipping containers. The tricky stunt is at the very end, where you'll have to drive up, on, and down a giant stack of containers with a Piccolina Carabinieri on your tail. Don't worry about driving up the containers, a turbo charger will be installed on your Piccolina in order to increase it's torque for this scene, but we'll keep the engine bay out of shot. Once you drive down the first ramp on the other side, there will be pile of blue and white trash cans you'll need to drive onto in order to reach the next ramp. Once you're down that ramp, the Carabinieri will crash into a open dumpster, allowing you to finally lose the police and meet back up with your crew.

    Without A Hitch:

    Vehicle:
    3 Modified 1965 Autobello Piccolina 130 As

Description: After meeting up with their crew and getting one last car on their tale, the lead will have to outrun that last stubborn police officer and make it to the rendezvous point, a disguised Semi Truck with a loading ramp TastiCola trailer. The tricky stunt is at the end, where you'll have to drive all three Piccolinas into the back of the trailer before reaching a highway overpass in order to successfully lose the cops and complete the biggest fictional heist of all time!

    The Wheelman V: Redline

    Location:
    Italy + West Coast, USA

Movie Description: The fifth sequel of a long running series about a legendary wheelman. During this film, the wheelman takes a job that leads him down a rabbit hole focused on human trafficking after saving a young woman he was suppose to deliver to a wealthy client. What follows is a lot of action packed chases with a lot of complex stunts and choreography.

    Stunt Runs:

    One Simple Job:

    Vehicle:
Modified 1988 ETK 3000ix (Rally suspension, Stage 2 Performance Long Block, Race Oil Pan, Ultra Light Flywheel, Limited Slip Differential, Silver 15x7 Alder Basketweave wheels)

Description: Taking place at the very start of the movie, Russel Greene, a legendary wheelman, helps a group of amateur robbers, who just robbed a bank in Italy, with getting away from the local police. The key stunt happens near the end of the run, where after being chased into Norte, you must gain momentum before using a steep incline as a ramp to jump over some police cars and land on the beach past a railing. Remember to hit about 60mph and aim a tiny bit towards the left so you don't crash into some rocks that are on the beach.

    Close Call:

    Vehicle:
2018 Bruckell Bastion Police 5.7 AWD (RWD Conversion)

Description: Play as Officer John Kruger as he pursues Russel's ETK though downtown Belasco. This is a fairy easy run, as all you'll need to do is keep up with the ETK and copy some of it's stunts, such a small jumps, some drifts, and driving through traffic. The key stunt is the very last one, where after racing through a narrow alleyway, the ETK will drift infront of a Turboburger Pessima, causing it to slam on it's brakes, blocking the alleyway. All you'll need to do is crash into the Pessima as fast as you can before stopping your car, ending the scene.

    Desperation:

    Vehicle:
Modified 1988 ETK 3000ix (Same modifications + Stage 2 Turbo kit)

Description: After the client found out about Russel saving the woman he payed for, he sends some of his goons in blacked out Bastion Sport GTs after him. Play as Russel as he attempts to outrun all of the goons and get the woman to safety. The final trick is the hardest one you'll face, as you'll need to land a barrel roll over a metal fence and then drive into a empty warehouse. You'll need all the power the ETK has to offer, as you won't have much of a run-up before the ramp, hence why a turbo kit has been added.

    Trucked Up:

Vehicle: 2020 Bruckell Bastion Sport GT 6.5

    Description:
After helping the woman escape Belasco City and having his precious ETK blown up, Russel hijacks a enemies' Bastion and uses it's GPS system to track down the client, raising hell and destroying as many enemy cars as he can in the process. The key stunt is yet again the final one, where you'll use a ramp to jump your Bastion into the rigged trailer the client is using to escape the city undetected. Be careful not to hit the ramp too fast or too slow, as the former will have you jump over the truck, and the latter will have you crash into the side of the highway.

    The Grand Finale

    Location:
    West Coast, USA

Movie Description: It's December 21st, 2012 in Belasco City. At first, it appears to be a normal day; people getting ready for their 9 to 5 jobs, children arriving at school, everything being as boring and dreary as any other day. Then, almost without warning, the ground starts to shake, buildings begin to collapse, and everything goes to Hell. Play the part of 4 random citizens of Belasco City, each trying desperately trying to escape their fates as they fight tooth and nail to escape this doomed city. This movie uses a lot of CGI and green screens, so you won't have to deal with crumbling roads and structures, nor that many obstacles, but you'll have to drive like a mad man in every scenario to make it seem real to the audience.

    Stunt Runs:

    Cab Chaos:

    Vehicle:
    1997 Grand Marshal Taxi (Modified)

Description: As the ground begins to shake, Franklin Cooper, a 38 year old taxi driver, races into the heart of Belasco city to save his two daughters from their possible eternal slumber. The key stunt is at the very beginning, where after entering the highway, the tollbooths begin to collapse, causing you to swerve into oncoming traffic before swerving back into the normal lane to avoid a oncoming muscle car. You'll need to then line up your car with the dirt embankment ahead of you and use your nitro to jump over a exploding semi truck, landing on a dirt hill on the other side and going onto a freeway on ramp, allowing you to finish the rest of the run. Keep in mind your car will be damaged for the remainder of the run, so your skills will be pushed to it's limit.

    Bug Out:

    Vehicle:
Unmarked 2004 Gavril Roamer LXT35 Police Package (Modified)

Description: After picking up her family from her crumbling apartment, Sarah McConnell, a 28 year old Police Officer, rushes through the panicking streets of Belasco to get to safety. The key stunt is the very last one, where you'll have to jump through a crashed BeaMoving van. Use your nitro and the help of a small ramp to hit the side of the van head on. Just make sure to keep your speed up, otherwise you won't have enough momentum to crash through the van completely, which will ruin the shot.

    Predetermined Fate:

    Vehicle:
1988 Civetta Bolide 390GT USDM (Lightly Modified)

Description: Play as Vincent Matthews, a famous movie star trying to escape the end times in his classic supercar. There's not really a key stunt to this scene, aside from the end where you'll have to crash into a wrecked flatbed truck, causing your car to roll over violently, sealing Vincent's fate. The best advice I can give you is to try to keep this car under control, as even with the racing slicks you'll be given, this car has a tendency to spin out when pushed to it's limit.

    Run for the Hills:

    Vehicle:
    1970 Gavril Barstow TrackSport

Description: What started off as a normal day for Trevor Cunningham, a 26 year old mechanic, quickly went south as his workplace was swallowed up by the ground, forcing him to quickly make his way to the freeway before it gets clogged up with traffic to make his escape in his old freshly restored muscle car. The key stunt happens at the end, where you'll crash through some barriers and use a ramp to jump over a construction site, along with some wrecked pickup trucks. The key is to keep your speed up to make it over the obstacles, but not so high that you end up landing on the guardrail.

As another massive Stuntman fan that wishes more people could play it, I understand. I just wanted to make sure you've heard of this mod before. I bet the both of you working together could make it even better, cause I've had a lot of fun with these missions myself.
