Hello, New to Beam NG, since I play with a an XBox gamepad, I though it missed some force feedback on controllers. One scheme I've implemented before that works, is to map understeer (front wheel slip) to the strong motor, and the oversteer (rear wheel slip) to the fine motor, xbox or PS4. I found it quite good, and I could get some very competitive times especially in adverse conditions (damp tracks), but can be overwhelming for rally courses (you'll be sliding all the time anyway). Usually, the fine motor is best suited for something that requires subtility, like dosing oversteer with the gas pedal, where as understeer can be modelled roughly (front wheel locking, mostly, so it can be on-off effect to a fair degree, hence the rumble motor that isn't very subtle). Not sure how Beam NG could model wheel slip the best (average or max velocity at the contact points for front / rear wheels, or all wheels?), but if anyone is versed into modding Beam NG for that kind of stuff. I'd be willing to do it of course, I just have no idea where to start.
