The current parts selection UI for customizing vehicles is very slow on some computers because the parts models and/or vehicle are reloaded with the selection of every part.

So engine swap... stutter, lag, wait, select supercharger, stutter, lag wait... and so on.
It makes customizing wheels and tyres a bit tedious especially where I have no idea what the wheel I'm selecting actually looks like, due to not being able to orbit cam while customizing.

I would like to propose an option similar to tuning - allow player to select a 'parts list' to change all at once with a manual button to refresh the vehicle configuration. It would make customization a lot faster I think.

I pause physics when i want to quickly upgrade a car or change the parts because i like to customize the cars myself rather than a preset config. It is much quicker than waiting for each individual part to load up.

    Thanks!

I tried the J key and that allowed me to more quickly select parts without the long wait as each loads.
I still need to unpause to populate the customization menu though, otherwise it just remains a blank screen.
