Sunburst - Tyre Shred

    If you are in the air, driving the sunburst, and you go over ~290kmph, the tires shred :/

    to replicate:

    It actually was mentioned in the thread about the 200BX doing the same. The devs believe it is because we have mods installed, but we don't.

    To be fair, most road tyres aren't designed to rotate at those speeds and therefore aren't guaranteed to maintain structural integrity. Most hubwheels exploded at about 900km/h, a speed which in reality would cause the rim to blow apart (among other parts failing catastrophically/melting/detonating). The official vehicles use pressurewheels now, which are more physically accurate, so I'll hazard a guess that the team tuned the tyres to fail at more reasonable speeds too. I might be wrong about that, so watch this space for an official response...
