Well, I'm too lazy to make this myself, so here's a suggestion: Many years ago, there was a thing called "swing axle suspension." It was bad, so they stopped using it. It was a very early type of independent suspension, with the differential held in place and the wheels attached to it by two half axles. Here's a picture: (imported from here) It was famously used on the original Corvair to... great effect, I guess. Anyway, here's the suggestion: I would like somebody to modify the Grand Marshal's jbeam (not necessarily the model) in order to create a swing-axle type suspension. It should be fairly simple to do this, as the only necessary changes would be: Remove the sway bar. Possibly lengthen the trailing arms. Hold the differential in place with a few rigid beams. Allow the two sides of the axle to move freely as depicted above. As a bonus challenge, you could (optionally) try making it a separate part. The reason I want this is because of the swing axle's notorious oversteer/jacking issues. Here's an example: (imported from here) I want to be able to do that. It looks fun. If you make this, I will give you a(virtual)cookie Thanks!
This suspension must of become infamous the moment it was off the production floor and on the road. I want it
