synchronising vehicle's odometer with the game stats

So that when you spawn a vehicle, your actual odometer is here and you don't reset to 0 miles/kilometers every time you drive. Let's say you accumulated 400 km on the sunburst and the stats say 400 km. Well, it would be nice to also have the vehicle keep that data over time. Right now it's only the trip distance.

 

If that was implemented, I'd like a trip odometer option to see how long you have driven from spawn.
