    Hey guys

I just wanted to discuss an issue I am now faced with on the T SERIES. this has been an issue ever since the big update when the cab over was brought into the game.

I use an xbox controller and for many years I have always shifted up and down the gears using A and X , This is all good and well but NOW there is a range box AND splitter BUTTON. I totally understand the realism ( I am actually a heavy truck operator In Australia ) So I know very much about trucks especially the 18 Speed. BUT this has become an awfully painful experience for me now on beam as to get to the next set of gears or split a gear my hand must now leave the xbox controller AND use the mouse to click on the splitter OR range box button which causes unsteady movement when trying to drive carefully on the game.

Yeah I could assign the splitter and range box buttons to my xbox controller BUT I DONT WANT TO!

I guess what my question is.. Is there anyway possible to get the old style shifting back where you start in number 1 and can tap A and end up in the highest gear without having to press split and range buttons..... Hope this makes sense and hope I can receive a reasonable solution or answer. Thanks

Or you assign a button combinaison for the splitter, or you do not use it. The splitter isn't obligatory in BeamNG (don't know if this is the case in real life), if you only use 5 gears it works.
I don't personally use it, because I don't have any button on my gearbox nor a free button on my steering wheel.

just make a mod, where add all 13, 14, or 18 gears to the transmision, ignore the splitter,
if you read this send me a DM, can help you with it.
