The Semi-Truck Line Could Use A Car Carrier Truck Like This One Here In This Pic, But Maybe A Little Bigger:
The T-series already lags the game on a lot of computers, what do you think adding a trailer full of cars would do? If you really want to have something like I think there was a mod that added one.
The problem with this is the beam count would be so high decent CPUs would still struggle to get 20fps.
The mod does not work with the latest version, but it came with a car carrier, a flatbed and a road train. http://www.beamng.com/threads/t75-trailer-mod-updated-for-0-4-2-2.14934/
What about an H series transporter? There are mini transporters and I'd like an excuse to slam a shitty horrible ETK-500 into a low bridge.
to save fps they could add some low polly cars on the trailer as an option (whatever the name for low detail) to they trailer that fall off in impacts
the FPS drop wouldn't really be from the cars on the trailer(assuming you have at least a quad-core cpu) it would be the trailer itself because as far as the game is concerned the trailer and T-series would be a single vehicle so it would be all placed on a single core, and the trailer would probably have at least two axles which means four more wheels(the T65 only has four as far as the game is concerned and the t75 has 6 duallies are considered one wheel in the jbeam) and more skidmarks so it would be bad on the GPU too.
Did you even see my explanation of why the T-series causes lag? I used to have one of the best intel processors available(and it was the best I was even able to find at the time other than the xeon CPUs) when the T-series came out and it was still somewhat hard on it because it was all on one core instead of all six.(admittedly the graphics card wasn't great, and when I got a new one something broke and the pins on processor and motherboard got bent so when I took it to get repaired the guy got a new motherboard and he broke that one then he took it to someone who actually knew what they were doing and he found out the pins were bent on the processor so I would have to get an entirely new motherboard and processor. So then the guy that was repairing it decided to get the motherboard and processor and ram without even telling me what parts he was getting which is why I'm stuck with whatever I have in it now)
Well if your pc sucks, just turn down all qualities to LOW.. It's a wonderful thing called...... LOGIC!!!!!!!! Wow! Who woulde umm.. If beamng bends your motherboard... Get a Dell Inspiron with stock everything... That's what I use and it barely ever lags... --- Post updated --- And not a full trailer of cars. A empty carrier with cars you spawn up and drive onto it...
Please explain to me the logic behind turning down the Graphics settings to make the physics easier to run. As for getting a prebuilt no thanks, I'd rather not overpay for a computer and barely know whats even in it. I still remember almost every part that I've put in my desktop but I already forgot what processor my laptop has and I just got it. and for the final thing you said, again please look at one of my previous posts, where I explain it's not the cars on the trailer that are the problem its the trailer and T Series itself,
An ok, well a Dell Inspiron is only like $400... its a great computer. ive had it for about 2 years now. its been great to me. so if your in the market, remember, Dell Inspirion (Defaultly comes with windows 8 but can be upgraded)
What i mean by low poly cars is to save the player time and fps instead of spawning 10 cars Secondly the game is a work in progress so it is some what not stable but in the future the game will be stable and will probably use less storage, ram and blah blah blah so don't argue now about graphics and stuff
