Here you can discuss about making terrains and such. I'll start:

When I save my map, there are various files that are outside of my map folder, such as the .ter file and some others. When I put them back into my map folder, when I load the terrain, some errors pop up because it was looking for the files I moved in the levels directory, where it previously was. Can anyone help?

Open your level's .mis file with a text editor and look for any paths outside your level folder. It should work if you copy the files to your folder and change the paths to match.

How do I make roads (very) smooth? The smooth tool in the terrain editor doesn't help much. :/

I have a few questions about making maps, so I'm gonna bump this thread instead of making a new thread.

    1. How do I import textured static objects into the game? I modeled and textured an object in Blender, but in-game it's just matte gray.
    2. The edges of my map are weird, when I fly a plane into the edge of the map (or a car), it looks like it gets caught by a spider web. It progressively comes to a stop while making sparks and smoke. Can I change that?
    3. Can I edit my terrain in L3DT after I imported it into the game and still have textures and roads on it?

Help will be very appreciated! :)

I can help you with 1.

Export the object as .dae with a material on it, and then when you import it on T3D you will have the option to apply a texture to that material.

I either don't get the option, or I can't find it. Where is it exactly?
I'll leave the object here, see if you can import it.

Its in the shape editor. You import your model, open the shape editor:
    H3wFbvX.png
(farthest right on the tool bar) and select your model.
    NXAiMks.png
You should have the ability to select the texture under the Mat tab in properties.
