Textures are disappearing after I added new ones (Without changing the existing ones) The game is driving me absolutely crazy.... When copying the section used for the steeringwheel, which was working without problems, I pasted it and changed the names and assigned textures. All that happened was that all textures (except the body, steeringwheel and chrome) are gone now (While I have not changed those in any way) and my new textures are not appearing... So I added "Exhaust", "W202_Lock", "PlasticBlack" and "Rubber" right below "W202_Body". When I did this all textures except "W202_Body" turned to "no material" in game. I then moved the new textures to the bottom. that kinda worked as the steeringwheel texture and chrome came back. But the original etk800 textures are still gone and my new textures didn't appear either.. I also tried clearing cache but this didn't work either. What is the problem here? That could be something, as my plain textures are 4x4. But does that influence the rest of the textures? EDIT: Rescaled my 4 x4 textures to 16 x16 and cleared cache, no improvements
For the error 'Darren9' quoted, make the textures minimum 32x32. We are talking about kilobytes of textures here, I wouldn't worry that much them being that size. Solved that, you will clear up a lot of errors. Then this remains: Which are the ones preventing those materials to load correctly. In particular: Solved that, you will now see more errors related to the 4x4 textures, as now your other textures are actually being loaded. After you resize them to 32x32 for example, they will work again. I'm not sure to which point you got, but after you solve that, almost all the materials works again. The non-functioning ones are due actually missing materials and textures (I suppose you didn't get to them yet) Feel free to use the attached ZIP which contains the resized 4x4 textures and the fixed materials.cs (only the missing bracket was the issue there). Basically, only the material before the missing bracket worked, the rest did not (hence why your 'Body' material was still OK)
