The AI Doesn't Work

When I try to use the AI it does absolutely nothing. For example, when I set the AI to chase, it just turns the parking brake on and when I turn it to flee it just sits there and does nothing. The AI used to work for me but now it doesn't. Please help me with this issue.

 

Delete the uiapps-layout.json file in the settings folder.

Going back to this. Seems the latest update broke the chase mode again. Now the ai don't do anything until you get very close to them or hit them, then they just go in reverse and hit the wall as hard as they can

 

Is there any way to fix this?

 

I've been doing that since I had issues in the last patch. Doesn't seem to be helping after multiple attempts

Found out, that the AI on standard modes work, but on mods, custom ones, AI won't work, so it's up to the author of mod to solve the issue. I just did one East Coast-chase and it worked just fine, but when I went to do Carnage-derby on this one mod, AI cars did nothing.

 

Yea, I have that as well, but the mod itself is outdated.

 

Yeah, the ai in that mod were given logic by the mod creator if I rememberright. It would appear that the devs gave the ai drugs instead of logic in the last patch.

Edit: And it was the derby arena map. No mods were used.

Thanks for pointing out that the map isn't a mod, I ws just about to do that myself
