I'm posting this here so I don't have to make a new thread. If you're expecting a full-blown map from this, you're going to be disappointed. This is just a little Photoshop thing.

So, this is something I've been making recently.

Big WCA, or as I like to call it...

    WCGTA

This is a revised version of arguably the most hated map in the game, West Coast, USA. It's got tons more things than the original WCA - like a park, a lake, tons more mountain roads, two airports, more suburbs, a much bigger city, hundreds of miles more road...but most importantly, it's bigger.

Much bigger. (Thanks to @Nadeox1 for this image:)

    However, his measurements are a bit inaccurate. The WCA map is 295*295 pixels - I'm using a 1600x1600 area for WCGTA. 1600 / 295 ~ 5.42.

    5.42 ^ 2 = 29.42

    29.42 * 1.6 mi^2 (the area of the original WCA) = 47.1 mi^2

Yes. It's almost as big as the GTA 5 map (which is 49 mi^2).

Here are the versions I have so far:

    Day 1:

    Day 2:

    Day 3:

    Day 4:
    WCABig.png

    Any suggestions are welcome.

So, this is something I've been working on recently that I thought I'd share with you all.

For those who have never heard of it, Need For Madness is basically a really old semi-predecessor of BeamNG.drive. It follows a similar basic concept: high customization (through the included Car Maker and Stage Maker), lots of maps ("stages" in Need For Madness), a few basic vehicles covering everything from compacts to Formula 1 cars to SUVs to mass-decimating construction equipment, the ability to beat your enemies through racing or vehicular combat ("wasting")...

...and it comes with quite possibly the most amazing soundtrack of any Flash game I've ever played.

It even has its own fan-made wiki, which goes over all the tracks, cars, strategies, soundtracks, and more: https://needformadness.fandom.com/wiki/Need_For_Madness_Wiki

Anyway, since this little game was basically my childhood, my BeamNG-before-BeamNG, I decided that I might as well take the BeamNG vehicles and maps and convert them into Need For Madness (henceforth known as NFM). Here's the vehicles I've got planned so far, and what NFM car they all match up to (please note that this is NOT final; I will most likely be moving a few vehicles up or down a class as I make them):

    So, a quick status update:

I just completed the Roamer last night. This model will serve as the base for the D35 and all of the sedans, and I may even built a D15 off of this, as well.

I used to play this game a ton back in 2014/2015, when the Multiplayer was at its peak. I was a fairly-well-known player back then; no top user, sure, but I created my own (okay-ish) cars, like the "Mia" series of American-themed sports cars and the first-generation Rocket Table.

With my return to NFM, I've decided to try and build many different vehicles, like the Beam fleet, instead of focusing solely on sports cars, 200-mph tables, and indestructible rolling houses.

Yeah, I did. I don't have any pictures of it, but imagine this...
    TablePic1.png TablePic2.png TablePic3.png
...but with square headlights and only the legs. It's about the size of the Nimi...
    TableV2Specs.png
    ...and boy, is it fast.

Speaking of fast, here's a quick update on the Hopper that I did today.
    HOPV15Image1.png HOPV15Image2.png HOPV15Image3.png
It was mostly just getting rid of a few of the nasty-looking pieces and making everything look nice.

So, a few things to note on the stages:

*Due to size restrictions, parts count, and general complexity, the JRI Peak Pass + Lower Highway Loop track(yellow line) has been replaced by a 3-mile-long custom mountain loop course (red line).
    upload_2019-11-24_16-56-16.png

However, the JRI Peak Pass will still be built, replacing the Port Shakedown as my NFM1 Stage 8 replacement.

*In other news, the WCA Full Circuit has been replaced by the Alternate Circuit, as I felt there needed to be a few more smaller circuits featured in the list (and building long angled straights is generally bad in NFM).

Can't wait for the Wentward, I'm gonna blow some people's doors off (literally) in MP.

Do you mean by wasting them? Because the DT35SE's pretty strong, but it's...well, at least it's faster than the MASHEEN.

Probably would've known that before if I mentioned it more often, as I occasionally jump into it.

I've even made a few vehicles for it myself, though none of them are BeamNG related, and I don't really have any ways of sharing my creations. I don't play the multiplayer, because I'm not going to pay for a subscription.

Actually, the LVC is a fairly strong vehicle for C Class. Not a Radical One by any means, but certainly stronger than the Nimi or F7.

And unlike the MASHEEN, which gets nuked by anything smaller than it if it so much as crawls in the wrong direction, the Wentward takes smashes to the rear very well. It even lets smaller vehicles cleanly pass through it like the EL KING or Monstaa - while decimating them and the MASHEEN quite well.

You have? What sorts of vehicles have you made? I made many vehicles that are not BeamNG-related several years ago, but I don't have any pictures of them anymore.

Since you asked, here's some I made over time.
    NFMcarslist.png
I've made more than these. Got a few that I haven't taken any images of, and some I haven't converted over to NFM from Sketchup yet.

Here's the most recent one I made, the Mobquet M-68 Landspeeder from Solo: A Star Wars Story. I made it because I absolutely love this landspeeder.

This thread actually made me go ahead and download this game, even if its development is on hiatus. Seems like a very neat game from the sounds of it.

Damn, I just got whiplash hearing about this again. I thought this faded into obscurity around 2015?

Pretty good recreations, keep it up.

    Also:
    1. It's a Java game, not a Flash game.
    2. That's the beauty of mod trackers. You can find more like those on The Mod Archive.

Man, those are good! I especially like the Wrangler and the motorhome.

It is a very neat game, and a great alternative for those who cannot reasonably play BeamNG with more than 2 or 3 vehicles. Admittedly, the AI is quite derpy, and often waste themselves in the most ridiculous ways while racing, but they are very good at wasting the player (especially MASHEEN).

Thanks! And yeah, I know about both of those points; I'll edit the post later to add this info.

Also, I've made the D-Series ext. cab...
    upload_2019-11-27_7-14-17.png
...and I'm going to get rid of the ECA Street Course due to pathing issues that I've experienced with it. I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to replace it with, but I thing I'm going to do something with the new sawmill area in ECA; that seems to be a perfect little area for making an NFM stage.

I've also made Nadeox1's SSRB in NFM; it's basically a glorified The Stretch with no dirt.

I'm glad you think so. I am willing to share them with anyone who asks.

I think I did alright with the JP Wrangler, same with all the JP ones. Honestly, I think Miss Comfort is one of my worsts. Its performance is mediocre, even for the games standards. You'd probably be better off with the El King, Dr Monstaa, or the MASHEEN.

One of my favorites that sticks out to me is the Venom, which I think I made back in 2015. I'm going by the date of its file, and it's dated 7/14/15. Either way, it's old.
    NFMVenom.png NFMVenom1.png NFMVenom2.png

The Venom is essentially these two cars rolled into one, with the extra addition of Mustang style taillights.

Performance wise, KITT, KARR, the Ultra-Craze, and the Mobquet M-68 are perfect for outracing the Radical One.
