I've had plans to make something like this for quite a while, but only recently felt comfortable enough with my video and audio editors to attempt a project like this. The BeamNG Showdown Series was inspired by shows like Best Motoring and will be putting cars of similar performance or styles against each other in time attack battles on the various tracks and scenarios within the game. Voiceover and commentary will also be featured in each video discussing the technical specifications of the vehicles, as well as short cinematic intros and possibly more transition shots as well. I'll also put the technical details in the annotations, and may eventually add those as text overlays for mobile viewers if I upgrade to a more advanced video editor. Hope you all enjoy the video. Made a shorter Showdown Series minisode on the Trial Mountain mod battling the Sunburst Race against the Pessima Race on the Trial Mountain mod. Used a splitscreen comparison for the runs to emphasize just how closely matched they were. Also improved the way I mic'd my voice so that voiceovers sound cleaner now. Only 7 thousandths of a second separated them with the fastest time being a 1'52.656.
Nice job! That's amazing! sunburst has more advanced electronics and driving systems, but that doesn't stop the Pessima!
