Thoughts/Discussion thread for The Crew 2 My opinion: Looks quite good, but i'm not a fan of boats and planes..
I think it looks great. I'm just waiting to hear about the map size. I know it's probably not justified, but only showing three or four locations at the conference made me paranoid. They didn't even have states last time, just regions. You're not denying the fact that New Jersey's on the east coast are you?
No, In The Crew, they labeled Jersey City and Bayonne as New York. I'd have been fine with it being on the east coast, but not in NY with NYPD.
Like @ktheminecraftfan said, you can only have so much detail. If every single person wanted their particular part of the country to match real life exactly, you'd run out of space pretty quick. It's not just small towns either, places like Austin, Philadelphia, and Boston don't make an appearance at all.
See, the crew made NY and the East coast as regions, but they somehow coded NJ as part of NYC when they could have easily changed one line of code and left it as part of the east coast.
I'm quite sure(about 100%) it won't be nowhere near the level of BeamNG.drive I don't know much about Crew 1, I spent much less time on Youtube back then, so I don't know what to expect. It looks good enough, but even then I most likely won't get it. What might change my mind would be a huge car choice, especially from the 80s/90s, but this is no Forza
They make good games like the Assassin creed series. I played the first Crew game, but I don't remember much from it. The drifting / turning was hard as I remember so the 'drift' is the funny part
i am a big fan of the crew, it's a really good open world game but drifting suck, dear god it's the worst drift game ever. Assassin creed i lost hope with unity.
I've seen some gameplay from TheSLAPTrain and it does look interesting. I like the graphics even though this is an E3 build of an Ubi game... As long as the graphics stay I would definitely buy this game, I already signed up for the beta.
I'm more excited afterabout seeing. Gameplay and hearing you don't have to do everything. That you can switch vehicle type while driving could make for some interesting stunts
