So for those of you who don't know, the lead writer for all of halflife has released a blog post on his website. Is this how the greatest gaming series of all time ends? I don't plan on reading them at all myself, in hopes that half life 3 does get made someday. Its sad that it ended this way.
I went ahead and read it anyway as I lost my hopes that we will ever see the franchise continue anytime soon. The plot is interesting enough but I doubt it would make it into the actual game if Valve ever decides to continue the story of Gordon Freeman. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens from now on.
Valve is done making games. Episode 3 might be made by a modder someday, prehaps with the cooperation of ex-valve employees. Don't get your hopes up though :|
