The game will load mods I'm not using. How to solve?

    BeamNG loads literally everything I have downloaded (maps I'm not in included) and since I've been downloading some maps lately (the only things I have downloaded for the time being), now the game eats more than 6GB of RAM while it only took around 1.2GB before all this stuff.

    Is there any configuration to change in order to solve this "download everything including stuff that's not currently needed" thing?
