L0D Issue is solved But new problem arrived I cleared a cache before play beamng and when I get in my map ...most of the buildings have no TEXTURE!! And it broke my east coast map.. What kind of texture problem is this? If u need a file ,tell me still new at map making..... SORRY FOR MY TERRIBLE ENGLISH
LOD models are the models used for objects that are far away. They are low detail so they don't strain the PC.
LOD means "Level Of Detail" This means that you can have many different versions of the same object. For a house this means you can have a really high detail one for when the player is close, a lower detail one for when they are in the same neighbourhood and a really low detail one for if they are at the opposite side of the map. This is to save processing power, since there is no point rendering a lady bug on the windowsill if the player is 1km, they won't see it. So generally with a very low poly version of a house you will have a cube with a pointy roof, then let the windows be only part of the texture and not the mesh, then when the player gets closer you can swap out the model adding mesh windows in etc. You can have as many of these levels as the game engine you are using will allow. But generally you don't need many, since you don't want the player to see the changes happening for every meter they move away from a building. Your issue is that when you move away the game switches the houses to a lower poly model, but it cannot find the textures for them. Hence you are getting the missing texture texture. However I do not know the solution.
looks like a new problem comes I cleared a cache before play beamng....but when I get in my map most of the buildings have no TEXTURES sry for my bad english
