Long time listener, first time caller! Have been around the community since the ROR days. Figured the least I could do was sit down and contribute my first map with the little bit of free time I have over the next couple of months! Please don't crucify me too much, I tried Being from New England this map is dedicated to rock crawling/Off-Roading. Features a lot of rocky climbs with muddy and swampy pits at the base and a ton of elevation! Will be releasing a beta within the near future hopefully if my schedule can manage. Currently the map is fairly aggressive and you have to be cautious picking lines with a well setup vehicle. I have tried to take my time making sure there aren't any weird or odd hit boxes with the rocks. There are quite a few line choices on the big climbs from mild to wild. I tried my best to take an IRL perspective on crawling and making what my dream trail would be. Still have quite a bit of texturing to do with rock faces and cleaning up/opening more lines for less capable vehicles. If you have a potato computer I apologize in advance. You will more then likely need at the very least a mid range laptop. If I can figure out a way to get this same forest aesthetic but also make it potato friendly I will make it happen! The trees are dense around the trail but other then that the map is pretty open. As of right now most pc's will be able to play it with the current size but as I expand on it with more trails I'm sure that will change. As of right now this map is fairly small. It is one long-ish trail with a large loop at the end and you go back to the start. I have plans on expanding with bridges across the rivers leading to more trails and building on it over time with waterfall trails and more swampy sections once I learn how to add them! Quick update. I haven't forgot about the map I've just been busy as can be over the last couple weeks with the holidays. Here are some updated pictures from a couple more dedicated "bouncer/tough trails" I have added. Aesthetics still aren't great and I'm looking for some better texture options and just playing with layers.
Spent a little time last night cleaning up some more of the map. I feel like it is at a state where its good enough to release a Beta. The trails are fairly difficult but there are multiple line options. All trails are very fun in both directions. If you have any experience crawling you will be fine.
