A realistic demolition derby mod built by a real life derby driver.
hows the new cars coming cant wait to play with them thank u for making this bad ass mod
In the final testing stage for deformation. Have cages and final tweaking left, then it will be textured and ready to go.
hell ya man
I just have to get this off my chest.... Best mod ever and thanks so much, i have over 280 hours of just playing this mod and i got the game 8/23/2019 Honestly, it doubles the value of the base game. and for the creators awesome job, im 28 and always dreamed of a game like this, hits everything ever wanted in a game.
how do I get the uv file bc I was gonna make some skins for the cars
If your gunna ask for help maybe dont call their hobby and passion "crap" compared to yours.. even i started laughing when i realised you was being serious.
but as a fellow uk banger driver i can help with the rads, download a mod called super rads and they will never over heat.
also like the gent said in his rightfully salty response "learn yourself" its really not hard to edit car files to change strength of parts such as rads, suspension parts ext.. just do some research.
As for people making stuff for you, it takes a lot of time, effort and patients so realistically you would have to have a personal passion in what you are creating to get the job done so you will just have to settle with your imagination as last time i checked no banger driver is a computer wiz and and all our time is tied up in building cars.
Sorry to hijack your post boss, i think your mod is awesome keep up the good work !
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\vehicles... open zip of vehicle you want to do the skin of, scroll almost to the very bottom and look for PNG file with name like: bluebuck_skin_UVs.png or moonhawk_skin_UVs.png you get the idea, but remember, this cars ar modified so the skins wont fit the cars perfect or be totaly messed up
As much as I love this mod I have one complaint, the interior sharing the material and color of the exterior
I love this mod so much. I play this pretty much every day for hours. I was wondering if you could help me out on how to customize the cars. I can not figure out how to get thme to save. Also, are you still working on this project? I would love to see some kind of story mode like you mentioned.
Yep, working hard on the next car! To save a car that you've customized, press Ctrl+w and go to the load/save tab, click the name of one of the RDP presets that you want to save over, and click overwrite.
My fleet ready to kick ass !
Deformation and parts testing for crown vic is 99% done... onto textures. Reminder that you can download it and play it early if you join my patreon, thanks so much for the huge support I've gotten on there!
having trouble getting this mod to work for some reason, i'm getting error in vehicle/object whenever i try to run fairgrounds. its almost like the grand marshal pathway is non existant for a lot of the items, tie rod pathway is broken, the bodys don't spawn in correctly, etc. The other cars seem to be fine though(they spawn in with correct body styles/cages, parts etc, but the wheels/headers are hit or miss for the orange texture bug)
I'm one of the unlucky people that had to do the intel work around(i have a 2070super) and its really just been like a kick in the nuts. I've went in and done the usual delete/reinstall everything( and deleted/moved things from different pathways), and am pretty much about to the point of wanting to delete every trace of the game i can find and starting over.
delete your old conflicting vehicle presets and clear cache.
To delete old presets, go documents > beamNG.drive > vehicles and you can either delete this whole folder, or just find the RDP presets listed in there and delete those. If you delete the whole thing all your custom presets will be gone. You mostly just need to delete the ones inside the fullsize folder.
to clear cache, when you start the game, click support tools > clear cache
Also don't forget to delete all "main.materials.json" in "documents > beamNG.drive > vehicles" manually
unfortunately a no go. I also manually deleted all mods and a few jsons in other files and get the same thing. I'm not sure if the igpu work around just has some coding that's really messing with things since it changes the pathing of the game. At this point i'm pretty sure it is a pathing issue, but weirdly it seems to only be the fullsize that is "broken", but none of the other cars move on launch while the error pops up
I'm sorry, I missed that you're using the igpu workaround. You need to delete the version you have and manually download the version 1.3.1 from before the grand marshal update, since the igpu fix is (or at least was) an old version
Thanks, just went back to the default pathway and it seems to have fixed itself(both the mod and trying to use onboard gfx)
That's interesting,I wonder if you can make a normal version of this vehicle so we can use it to do something else, not just derby
